Waterfalls and a reasonable hike sounds like a great time to me! We love taking photos of falls, and don’t mind a bit of a hike where we won’t get so tired hauling our nice cameras (or even a light tripod) with us.

Just beautiful. You would be surprised what kids can do. Our family did a very difficult trail in Yosemite once, including getting lost and my four year old was a real trooper. Walked the whole way!
