There's Kingsley Plantation and Ft George Island SP up from the zoo side of town, Big/Little Talbot Island are also nice. If you will be on the east side of town, Hanna park is a good place to take the kids on an afternoon. Also is the Hand's On Museum (though I've never been) and a waterpark (Adventure Landing). Alligator farm at St Augustine is expensive but cool (bring bug spray), there's also the light house. Skip the MOSH, we thought it was overpriced and not much to do.
