In 2005, we traveled with my 10mo son to Europe.  We had a whirlwind vacation and got to do so many different things.  You can read the first eight posts here: The London Eye, Trier, Germany; Kelty Convertible Backpack; American Cemetery and Memorial; Amsterdam, NetherlandsZermatt, Switzerland and the Matterhorn, Brussels, Belgium, and Stuck in Bed.

Today, for Photo Friday over at DeliciousBaby, I am going to share some photos from our wanderings in Berlin.  We spent the majority of our Berlin trip just wandering the streets.  At this point, we had been traveling by plane, train and automobile for 2 weeks and we were tired.  We were also running out of money!  We wandered through many historical landmarks and ate at some fantastic restaurants.

Oh, those are great photos (I’ve never been to Berlin), but could you label them? I’d love to know what I’m seeing – you know, in case I get to visit myself. 🙂

Never been to Berlin but hope to make it one day…but seeing your son in the Kelty backpack stroller brings back lots of memories of traveling throughout Asia with our son in the same contraption/lifesaver!

I’ve heard so much about Berlin and I still can’t understand why I haven’t been. These are good photos especially the ones of your baby son. Thanks for sharing.

Berlin is a great city & you’ve done a beautiful job capturing it! What a cute baby your boy was 🙂

Oops! I will label them tonight! I need to double check everything for accuracy/spelling. I posted it and totally forgot to add the labels!

Thanks for sharing your Berlin memories. I spent four years living in Berlin and loved reliving my memories with your photos today!

Huge kudos for you in traveling with such a young baby! You’re an intrepid mommy!

I think taking a 10 month old is a stroke of genius. They aren’t quite toddling yet so they are still very portable. But they are old enough and sturdy enough to pack along for the ride. I did *not* get to Europe with my kids at that age, so now it’s on the horizon with them in the 4 to 7 range. Awesome job and great journal of photos.

Great photo’s. Especially of your baby with the umbrella. I have been to Germany a couple of times, but can you believe it…we haven’t been to Berlin. Gotta go on the next trip.
